Pure, Grass-Fed A2 Milk in Hyderabad

Milk Born from a Mother's Love

Our farm was not born from a business plan, but from a grandmother's quest for pure, healthy milk for her family. Unwilling to accept the compromises of the modern market, she started with a few native A2 Ongole cows, not to build an enterprise, but to provide a glass of life-giving milk she could trust.

This simple act of love is the standard we uphold for you.

Our Guiding Values

Native Ongole calf at Kotha Agro Farm Yacharam, raised on organic pastures near Hyderabad.
  • Ahimsā (Compassion): Our animals are not commodities; they are cherished members of our farm family, deserving a life of dignity and comfort.
  • Prakriti (Harmony with Nature): We work *with* nature, not against it. Our farming is 100% organic, chemical-free, and designed to heal the land.
  • Śuddhatā (Absolute Purity): We commit to food that is pure and unadulterated. No hormones, no unnecessary drugs, and no chemical residues.
  • Paramparā (The Desi Lineage): We exclusively raise indigenous A2 breeds. Our herd is anchored by the majestic Ongole (the pride of Telangana) and includes Sahiwal and Gir cows. These native breeds are naturally resilient to our climate, meaning they live healthy lives without the antibiotics often needed for foreign breeds.

Our Philosophy: Small Batch, Big Heart

We have a small, cherished herd of nine milking cows, producing about 40 litres daily. This is by design. Our cows naturally produce around **4.5 litres per day**, a stark contrast to industrial farms that can push cows to yield 2-3 times that amount. We choose long-term animal health over short-term output, every time.

We also follow the timeless principle of letting the calf drink its fill first. We only collect the surplus milk the mother lovingly shares. Our limited quantity is our proof of authenticity.

Kotha Farms vs. Standard Dairy

We rely on nature and manual effort, not machines. Here is why our small-batch milk stands apart.

Feature Kotha Agro Farms Commercial Packet Milk

Milking Hand Milked (Gentle) Machine Milked (Industrial)

A Home, Not a Concrete Jail

Many dairy cows live on hard concrete floors that cause pain and injury. We rejected this. Our cows live in open-air shelters with soft earth floors, which are gentle on their joints. They graze freely in our fields for 8-12 hours a day, living a life of comfort and dignity.

A Diet of Green Grass, Not Garbage

Natural green fodder for our cows, ensuring high-quality milk production without hormones.

Industrial dairies often use grain and processed feeds to maximize output. Our cows eat what they were born to eat: 100% fresh, natural grass, grown organically on our own farm. This pure diet means pure milk, free from unnatural additives and toxins.

Nurturing the Land with Jeevamrutham

Organic Super Napier grass grown at Kotha Farms to ensure chemical-free A2 milk.

We don't use chemical fertilizers that can seep into your milk. We create our own living tonic, Jeevamrutham, from cow dung, urine, jaggery, and living soil. This traditional elixir enriches our land naturally, ensuring the grass our cows eat is as pure as it gets.

The Sacred Cycle: Waste to Wealth

On our farm, nothing is wasted. The cow's dung is a precious resource. It fertilizes our fields and is hand-crafted into sun-dried cakes called 'Pidakalu,' which are used in sacred rituals and for cooking holy meals, honoring the cow's sacred place in our culture.

The Result: Milk You Can Trust

  • Truly Pure: Free from antibiotics, growth hormones, and pesticide residues.
  • Easier to Digest: From native Indian A2 breeds like Gir, Sahiwal, and Ongole.
  • Rich & Flavorful: The natural, creamy taste that only comes from a grass-fed diet.
  • Ethically Produced: Enjoy every sip knowing it came from happy, respected cows.

The Proof in Your Kitchen

When you boil our milk, you'll see a thick layer of cream (malai) and a rich, golden hue. The cream forms because our milk is non-homogenized, and the golden color comes from beta-carotene in the fresh grass our cows eat. These are the signs of pure, unprocessed, grass-fed milk.

From Our Kitchen: The Circle of Purity

We create artisanal products only when surplus milk allows. We operate a Circular Economy: the whey and buttermilk byproducts are returned to the farm to nourish the soil and the cows.

Vedic Bilona Ghee

₹4000 / KG (Pre-order only)

Why is it special?

This is not ordinary ghee made from cream. We use the labor-intensive Bilona method. We boil the milk, set it into curd, and hand-churn it to extract butter. This butter is then slow-cooked over a fire. It takes nearly 30 liters of milk to produce just 1 KG of this golden elixir.

Fresh Lemon Paneer

₹1000 / KG (Limited Batches)

Why is it special?

We curdle our milk using only freshly squeezed lemon juice. We never use industrial vinegar or citric acid powder. The result is a naturally soft paneer with a delicate, fresh flavor that store-bought versions cannot match.

The Science Behind the Purity

  • Higher Healthy Fats: Research shows grass-fed milk is richer in Omega-3s and CLA, which are vital for heart and brain health.
  • More Vitamins & Antioxidants: A natural diet provides more Vitamin E and beta-carotene (the source of the golden color) to protect your body's cells.
  • Better for Digestion: Our native A2 cows produce milk free from the A1 beta-casein protein linked to digestive discomfort in many people.
  • Free from Contaminants: Our organic promise means no chemical residues, antibiotics, or growth hormones ever make it into your milk.

Our Milk is Limited, and That's Our Promise

Because our cows' welfare and their calves come first, our supply is naturally limited. We operate on a simple "first come, first serve" model for our community. Milk this pure and ethical cannot be mass-produced. We feel honored to share this precious bounty with your family.
